Sunline Films is a production company co-founded by Sara Pipernos and Mairi Eyres. We create high impact environmental and social justice documentaries.

Our films have won awards and been nominated at festivals internationally including the Royal Television Society (RTS), International Wildlife Film Festival, Jackson Wild, London Mountain Film Festival, Vancouver Queer Film Festival and more.

​Alongside our own festival-winning docs, we produce broadcast quality films for environmental, marine and social justice NGOs. Past clients include Blue Marine Foundation, RSPB, Human Rights at Sea International, Pasture for Life, Sustainable Fisheries and Communities Trust, International Pole and Line Foundation and High Weald National Landscape.

Our latest feature length production tells the story of tuna fishing through a chef's journey to uncover the secrets of the fish on her plate. The trailer was shown at the UN Ocean Conference 2025, with the film due to release summer 2026. Viewing available on request.

A collaboration with Human Rights at Sea International, this film investigates the death of a Kiribati fisheries observer who went missing in 2020. Won a national student RTS award and was nominated at Jackson Wild.
